event planning services. The term "journeys" implies a personalised and curated approach to travel and to events, emphasising unique and tailor-made experiences. Under Mouna's leadership, SÖNRAI covers three key areas:
EVENT MANAGEMENT
Our event management services are categorised into three distinct types:
- Client Events: We manage every detail of private client events from A to Z. Our team arranges bespoke events tailored to our clients’ specific needs and desires, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience. From housewarming parties, special dinners, and product or service launches to corporate retreats, holiday gatherings, celebrations, charity galas, networking events, team-building activities, art exhibitions, gallery openings, VIP experiences, cultural and themed events, and much more, we cover it all.
- SÖNRAI Events: Curated and managed by our founder, Mouna Azirar, these events draw inspiration from her lifestyle and community. Mouna selects the theme, location, catering, speakers, and guest list, fostering connections among like-minded individuals. These events, held primarily in Marbella, often feature collaborations with speakers, artists, or art gallery owners, creating vibrant and inspiring experiences.
- SHE-E-0, Female Entrepreneur Club: Launched in Autumn 2024, this new branch focusses on creating quarterly gatherings at select venues to bring together inspiring female entrepreneurs. These reunions will provide a platform for women to share their skills, knowledge, and ideas, fostering a supportive community of collaboration and innovation.

I’m Mouna Azirar, the visionary founder and managing director of SÖNRAI, where we specialise in crafting bespoke travel and event experiences. With over 19 years in the luxury business realm, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a refined touch to every journey and event we create.
My career has encompassed significant roles in business development, sales, and multicultural relations. I've navigated the corporate landscapes of renowned brands like Issa London and Burberry, excelling in franchise negotiations and luxury brand consulting. My meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills have been crucial in delivering exceptional customer service and personalized experiences.
Having explored over 40 countries, I’ve gained intimate knowledge of a diverse range of destinations through both leisure and business travel. From 5-star hotels and boutique accommodations to resorts, villas, and unique Airbnb experiences, I’ve stayed at some of the most iconic places around the globe. Whether it’s Song Saa in Cambodia, Peninsula Hotels in Asia, Mandarin Oriental in the UAE, Four Seasons in Azerbaijan, Las Ventanas al Paraíso in Mexico, Rooms Boutique Hotel in Georgia, The Omnia in Zermatt, Al Qasr Hotel, One & Only Resorts in the UAE, or Amanjena in Marrakesh, these experiences have refined my taste to an exquisite standard, ensuring every SÖNRAI experience is marked by a discerning and
sophisticated perspective.

captivating qualities.
